I was born in Pekin, IL, on March 8, 1983. From there my family moved to Rock Island, IL, where we lived until
I was four years old. Right about the time of my fourth birthday we moved to Grand Rapids, MN. We lived there
for about ten years, then moved to Brainerd, MN in 1998, where my family has been ever since.
After I graduated in 2001 I went to Rockford Master's Commission and graduated from my first year in July of 2002.
From there I went to North Central University to major in Children's Ministry, where I was for 4 years.
While at NCU I met the beautiful Trena Renee Olson, whom I married on May 20, 2006. She graduated in
2006 with an Elementary Education degree with a Social Studies concentration and a Music supporting program
from North Central.
I grew up in a pastor's home, my dad being a pastor, so I feel I grew up knowing ministry life. With this in mind
I can't picture myself doing anything but being in the ministry.
I served as the Children's Pastor at ROC International Church in Northville, MI, (a western suburb of Detroit) from August
2006 to December 2007.
Since January 14th, 2008 I have been on staff with my dad, Rev. Mark Boone,
as the Children's Pastor at Heritage Assembly of God in Baxter, MN.
